SPECIALIZATION
Import substitution
Our company helps implement a systematic approach to localizing the production of spare parts for high-tech equipment within the corporate structure of large enterprises. This approach is based on the analysis, evaluation, and systematization of spare parts nomenclature, followed by the design, establishment, and development of new modern production capacities within the corporate ecosystem.

Public financial reports indicate that in 2022, the costs of acquiring spare parts among five major mining and processing companies in Russia increased by an average of 44%. In absolute terms, this growth amounted to more than 43 billion rubles (see table).
It is already evident that cost increases in 2023 will continue to escalate. At the same time, Russia has successful examples of import substitution. For many years, PJSC “Transneft” has been working to reduce its dependence on imported technical devices, components, software, services, and foreign-manufactured equipment.

To localize the production of key pipeline transportation equipment and materials in Russia, the company has established three manufacturing plants: JSC “Transneft Oil Pumps,” JSC “Russian Electric Motors,” and LLC “Transneft-Sintez.” Today, the system operates a total of 11 production facilities, manufacturing 4,000 different types of specialized equipment.

Our experts have been involved in all stages of the oil pump manufacturing plant project.

JSC “TNN” Project

Similar projects can follow the path of technology transfer with the subsequent creation of joint ventures or take the route of reverse engineering. In both cases, our team is ready to provide its expertise and support to our clients.
