There are quite a few large-scale production facilities in Russia. This is especially characteristic of joint ventures (JVs) with foreign partners. Unlike relatively new JVs, where efficient conveyors, robots and automation according to the molds of a foreign technology carrier have been introduced, domestic productions are represented by aggregate machines, the production of which was developed in the USSR, but not at present.
Modernization of such production facilities requires a radical transition to the use of robots and automated production control systems.
